NAF Holds First DS Retreat in Colombia

In September, the NAF held it's first District Superintendent and wives with Missionaries Retreat in Cali, Colombia. Fifteen district superintendents and their wives and five missionary families from Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela were in attendance.

The retreat was a time of great fellowship, worship, and meetings. Special speaker, General Superintendent Dr. Gustavo A. Crocker spoke on leadership using the new model iWin.  Regional Director, Christian Sarmiento shared other thoughts on leadership and the direction of the days ahead for the NAF.

NAF Director, Dwight Rich shared the history of each NAF country and how they were established and the growth up until now.  Also in his report Dwight shared of his and Carolyn's announcement of their retirement.

The leaders were shocked and also saddened by the announcement in that the Richs' have led the NAF towards growth over the last 32 years and have obtained the respect of the national leadership of the church.  They will be greatly missed!
The retreat concluded with most of the leaders having the opportunity to attend the Master Plan's Convention with a conclusion of two Sunday services held in a tent of more than 10,000 in each service. The services were held at the new property of the Cali Church.
