Semester 30 NILI
The semester 30 of NILI ended this week but was filled with many activities of ministry, language classes, and cultural experiences. NILI is Nazarene International Language Institute.
The three NILI girls are Carly Blystone, Katie Rummery, and Sara Alvord who are students at Olivet Nazarene University. When asked if they were ready to return to the States, their reply in unison was, " No, I love Ecuador!"
The students spent several days at an Ecuadorian family home, experienced the jungle area by flying into where a Waodani tribe lives that martyred 5 missionaries in 1956, experienced the Galapagos, climbed Chimborazo, visited an orphanage and participated in a ministry week. Each developed lasting friendships with their seminary student roommate.
Please pray for these young ladies as they return as they may encounter cultural re-entry difficulties and also pray that God would still speak to them as how He wants to use them. foto credits to NILI 30
