Prayer Requests
We praise the Lord that Baby Halston's lab results came back this week with very positive results.  Her platelets and hemoglobin have continued to climb. Her creatinine, which shows her kidney function, is now below the lower limits, which is good.  She will have further infusions in the weeks ahead as part of the treatment for atypical HUS.  Pray that God will intervene with complete healing.

Baby Halston was released from the hospital last week.  She had been in and out of the hospital since the middle of Dec with kidney problems, high blood pressure, and low hemoglobin count which led the doctors to diagnose her with atypical HUS (aHUS) an extremely rare and serious genetic disease. There are only about 2 in 1 million people with this disease in the US and they had never seen this in a baby.

Baby Halston's parents are Bryan and Jen Rich, her big brother is Brooks, and her grandparents are Dwight and Carolyn Rich former missionaries to Ecuador.  Her Aunt and Uncle are Aaron and Stefanie Phelps who have 2 boys.
Please pray for NAF Partner and NAF short term volunteer Ron Boeve. Ron injurroned his shoulder a while back and had rotator cuff surgery yesterday.  The surgery went well and he is home recuperating.  Pray that Ron's shoulder will heal completely and that he will have minimal pain.

Ron has been to Ecuador many times to serve by welding chapels as well as other projects.

Ron is on the left in the picture.
Please be in prayer for the safety of leaders as they are traveling to different districts in preparation for district conventions and assemblies starting in February and March. Also, pray for the NAF churches as they prepare their hearts for decisions that need to be made on their districts.
Please find a list of the District Assemblies on the NAF.
