Feb. 15 the Lago Dis trict of Venezuela held its XXVII Convention and Assembly in the Shalom Nazarene Church in Las Piedras in the state of Zulia. Venezuela leaders take advantage of having everyone together and also to save on travel by having their convention and assemblies at the same time. They use this time to hold workshops and present different ministries.
More than 120 leaders, pastors, laymen, visitors, and others from other parts of the state of Zulia and other parts of the country united to complete the business of the Father. 
They celebrated the anniversary of Rev. Carlos Cordero of serving as District Superintendent for 20 years. Many gave thanks by sharing their appreciation of his wisdom, strength and for the growth of the district during this time. Rev. Carlos Cordero was appointed to be the DS of First District last week and will continue as the DS of the Lago District.
God is doing amazing things in this country that is in crisis. Please continue to pray for safety, strength during the hard times, and blessings on each and every one of our church people.
