What Quarantine Looks Like for the Churches

Ecuador has called a national quarantine for people to please stay in their houses.  The only stores that are open are pharmacies, medical places, gas stations and stores that sell food. All ways of transport to enter the country are shut down and there are just a few international or chartered flights to leave the country.  We find ourselves in the same situation most of the world is in, working from home and doing church through means of technology.

Since there is no school our churches that have special classes for children are also shut down.  In one district we have more than 8,000 children that are not receiving their 1-2 balanced meals or classes during the week that they would receive at our children's centers   This also means that children are possibly being left at home while parents are working in their fields or working. This is very dangerous in so many ways. Please pray for these children, their parents and the tutors and pastors of these churches.
