Flooding in Ecuador

A year ago the coast of Ecuador was shaken by a 7.8 earthquake and today they are surviving the effects of flooding.  Please click on the video to watch in English to see the damage of the rain.

Please join us in praying for many areas of the coast of Ecuador and Peru that are flooded even as the rain continues.  Some experts are saying the rain will continue for another week. Many have already lost their homes, their possessions, and their crops and are living in temporary shelters.
 The Church of the Nazarene is responding in both countries.  Many Ecuadorians lost everything but their lives nearly a year ago in the terrible 7.8 earthquake.  Many are still living in plastic temporary shelters that do not withstand the rain and floods. The situation is serious and complicated.
