Special Ordination Service for Venezuelans held in Colombia

There was much rejoicing and praise to the Lord when the group of over 50 Venezuelans met in Cúcuta, Colombia for the special ordination service.  Family, friends, and pastors shared in the celebration with the 13 ordination candidates. General Superintendent Dr. Gustavo Crocker officiated with Regional Director, Dr. Christian Sarmiento and NAF Director Dr. Geraldo Nunes taking part in the ceremony. You could see the expressions of gratitude and praise to God for being able to complete their goals and for the leaders choosing to hold a special ordination service. There is not always electricity or wifi which are needed to take the required extension classes. Since the leaders are not able to enter into the country the special service was held in Colombia.  Please pray for the pastors and leaders in Venezuela as they continue to work building the church as it continues to grow.  The church consists of close to 10,000 members!

Colombia's Ordination service was held at the Por Su Gracia Church of the Nazarene in Bogotá, Colombia. Bogotá, Colombia. Two women were ordained, Carolina Mehecha, wife of DS Juan Soto and Esmeralda Orjuela, wife of DS Jerrison Ambuila by General Superintendent, Dr. Gustavo Crocker, with Regional Director, Dr. Christian Sarmiento, and NAF Director, Dr. Geraldo Nunes assisting. Also, Missionaries, Dr. Luis and Clara Meza, Rev. Juan Soto, DS for Central North, Rev. Jerrison Ambuila, DS for South Occidental and the ministerial body of the Central North District were present. It was a time of rejoicing and gratitude for these wives of District Superintendents to be ordained.

The Colombia Central North District held it's 44th assembly in Bogotá.  It was a special time of celebration, training, challenging the churches, and listening to the reports. Rev. Juan Soto is the District Superintendent. Also present were Regional Director, Dr. Christian Sarmineto,  NAF Directors, Dr. Geraldo and Waner Nunes and Missionaries Dr. Luis and Clara Meza.

Colombia South Occidental held it's 35th District Assembly in Cali, Colombia with more than 200 delegates from 40 churches across the district.  It was a very special time hearing what God is doing in each church. NAF Director, Dr. Geraldo Nunes presided over the assembly with Missionaries Dr. Luis and Clara Meza present.  The District Superintendent is Rev. Jerrison Ambuila.

Venezuela Llanos district held it's 30th District Assembly in the Andres Bellos Church of the Nazarene in Barinas.  Of the 150 people present,130 were delegates to the assembly. District Superintendent Rev. Carlos Cordero presided over the assembly with the assistance of District Superintendent Rev. Rafael Trejo. It was a time of rejoicing to hear the encouraging reports of the pastors and also of the ministry directors.  Please pray for this district and the leaders.
